Survey Manager - Danvers

12-20 Years of Experience in Land Surveying; Professional Land Surveyor Registration Required; Survey Management Experience Required; Candidates should be capable of managing multiple survey crews, coordinating schedules with Clients and engineering staff, writing proposals, reviewing invoices, following up on collections, developing new business, attending workload meetings with engineering staff, training survey staff and overseeing all other survey matters for the Danvers office.  Candidates that do not meet the specific requirements of this job posting will not be considered.

Survey Instrument Operator - Danvers

2 years of experience (LSIT is a plus), knowledge of Leica Robotic Station and related survey equipment, basic knowledge of AutoCAD, and Carlson SurvCE.  A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.  Must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs and have the ability to perform physical labor (i.e., strenuous walking, and lifting, catch basin grates/manhole covers, hauling equipment) and physically maneuver around construction sites, including accessing excavations, trenches, structures and other disturbed areas. Assistant Office Administrator

Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm seeking an administrative professional to assist the company administrator in the Danvers, Massachusetts office.

This position will be for a minimum of 30 hours per week, 9am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, with benefits including paid vacation, holiday and sick time, 401k match and health insurance.  Competitive hourly compensation will be negotiated based on applicants’ qualifications.

Individual will be responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks including but not necessarily limited to:

Greeting clients/vendors
Answering phones
Local travel to and interaction with various town/city departments
Attention to detail and accuracy
Copying/scanning plans and documents
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Provide support for the Principals, managers and staff, as needed
Maintain inventory of supplies
Maintain office equipment, schedule repairs as needed
Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Requirements:
6+ years of professional administrative experience
Associates Degree in Business or related discipline

Junior Civil Engineer - Danvers

Entry level civil engineer, 1-4 years of experience. Candidates are required to have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and passed the Engineer in Training Examination.  Candidates must be familiar with Massachusetts Land Use Statutes and Civil Engineering Practices related to stormwater management, site development and onsite wastewater disposal.  Candidates must be proficient with AutoCAD and HydroCAD SW.  Experience with Carlson SW is preferred.  Candidates that do not meet the specific requirements of this job posting will not be considered.

Survey Crew Chief - Danvers

4+ years of experience as crew chief or instrument person ready to advance. Perform construction stakeout, boundary, topographic, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, GPS. A good understanding of general Legal Principles, surveying practices and surveying standards. LSIT is a plus. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required. Capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. Cooperative Internship

MCG is seeking applicants for an internship from students in civil engineering or land surveying college degree programs.  The position involves assisting engineers or surveyors in addressing plan red lines, performing project research, assembling reports and application packages, assisting in the field or other tasks as directed by the team leader.  This position includes a competitive hourly wage compensation but does not include benefits.  Applicants must have a valid drivers license.  Candidates that do not meet the specific requirements of this job posting will not be considered.
